Our Mentorship services goes beyond consulting in order to actively transform your business. Most business owners are specialists in their business services and specialists in producing the products they sell but are not specialists in all matters relating to their businesses. Small business owners, by nature, are operationally involved in their businesses on a day to day basis. Strategic planning and direction often falls to the side due to lack of time or ability. Our mentorship program includes the following:

Coral provides mentorship services as a two emphasis approach:

2. To address strategic issues

Typically a business mentor will ask the business owner the difficult questions that no one else would. We make him or her recognised issues that have not occurred to them. We act as a sounding board to work through business issues, we develop operational solutions and develop strategy together with the business owner. We have practical experience of running small businesses and we possess wide business development experience and skills set. The combination of the relevant theoretical knowledge base and the practical experience in operating and providing advice in the SMME environment ensures that we are more than adequately qualified to act as your business mentor.
You should be able to be comfortable in working with your business mentor, the environmental should be a comfortable but challenging one. You as a business owner should be open and responsive to being challenged and criticised.
We recommend that you have a minimum of four mentorship sessions as it is time consuming to go through the analysis and discussion processes. Four sessions should be sufficient to ensure your objectives and goals are achieved, thereafter if you so require you can schedule regular or irregular single sessions depending on your needs. Sessions are a minimum of one and half hours long and the sessions normally take place at your place of business.
